A tailored made program that includes the wilds lands of Sapa, Chinese border and territory inhabited by different tribes, Hmong, Dzao… Two nights in Hanoi, one night cruise in Halong Bay, transfer by train to Sapa with included night and one night in Sapa, a night in Hue, two nights in Hoian and two nights in Saigon and the Mekong Delta.

Day 01

Arrival at the International Airport in Hanoi. Welcome by the assigned guide and private transfer to the hotel. After Check-in at the hotel, we will have a rickshaw ride across the Old Quarter.

Day 02

After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin knowing this unique city, in which we will visit the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, Tran Quoc Pagoda, the National Museum of Ethnology and the Temple of Literature. There will be time to wander through the streets occupying the central area, nearby the Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 03

Private transfer to the coast by car to enjoy one of the great wonders of the country, Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.  We will take a boat that will take us across the bay, visiting different islands and caves along the route. During the tour, there will be different activities such as trekking or Tai Chi while we enjoy the sunset, a boat trip to know the fishing village

As a different option, travelers can enjoy a night in Lan Ha Bay. This is a less crowded bay very close to Halong Bay. With similar landscapes and smaller size.

Day 04

Visits and activities on board during the morning. Private transfer back to Hanoi by road. Time to explore the city. Dinner at a local restaurant and transfer to the train station to take Chapa Express Train to Lao Cai. Night on the train.

Day 05

Arrival to Lao Cai and private transfer by road to Sapa. After breakfast, we will head for Ta Van village, descending a beautiful and steep valley inhabited mostly by ethnic minorities such as H’Mong, Dao, Tay, among others. We will do the last part of the route walking approximately 1hr until arriving at a traditional local house, where we can enjoy a lunch based on different local gastronomic delights.

Transfer by road back to Sapa where we will make a last visit to the Cat Cat village.

Day 06

We will visit a typical market, Coc Ly; only if it is a Tuesday. Later, we can also visit a typical Hmong village and visit the village of Lao Cai, a border town, between China and Vietnam.

Afterwards, dinner in a local restaurant and transfer to the train station to take the Chapa Express Train to Hanoi. Nigh in the train.

Day 07

Private transfer to the airport for departure flight to Hue. Travelers will visit the Imperial Palace, World Heritage Site since 1993 and Thiem Mu Pagoda.

Day 08

Departure by road to the south. First stop to visit the mausoleums of ancient emperors as Khai Dinh and Thu Duc. During the journey to Hoian we can visit the Marble Mountains and different craft centers.

Day 09

Visiting Hoian and exploring the city walking the streets. Hoian known it as Faifo by the french coloners is World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Traveler will enjoy the temples, traditional houses and the japaness bridge.

In the afternoon, sidecar tour around the rural areas of the city.

Day 10

Private transfer to Danang and flight to Ho Chi Ming. Today we visit Cuchi, to know the network of tunnels. There we will have the opportunity to chat with a veteran of the Vietcong who will show us the subterranean passages, way of communication and refuge during the war.

In the afternoon, we will visit Saigon, visiting the most important places of the historic city: the Reunification Hall, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the famous Post Office building. Gastronomical experience included: taste an authentic Banh Mi, a traditional vietnamese sandwich.

Day 11

Day to discover Bentre, in the Mekong Delta. We will take a boat and enjoy the delta from the water. This area produced 80% of the food consumed throughout the country.

As part of the experiences in the Vietnamese delta, we will learn the coconut process: ancestral techniques and artisans process. We also recommend travelers take a bike to ride to a fisherman’s house.

Lunch included with view of the river.

Visit a former Vietcong soldier who survived two years fighting the Khmer Rouge in Phnom Penh. Now he and his wife live on making rice paper, which is the most famous specialty of My Long village.

Day 12

Free time before private transfer to the airport for departure.
